International Volunteer Program Application Deadline: January 15th, 2016

It is our pleasure to announce that EUCAPA 2016 will host an international volunteer program to support EUFAPA student members.

International volunteer program will accept 10 students from European countries (including Turkey and Israel). The goal of the program is to enable volunteers to meet and work with academics and pioneers of adapted physical activity while serving at the symposium. Prerequisite to be become a volunteer is poster or verbal presentation at EUCAPA 2016. The IVP will start on June 13th and end on June 18th, 2016.

Travel costs belong to volunteers. The Organizing Committee will provide accommodation and meals. Volunteers will participate in an orientation on June 13th. This training aims to educate and support volunteers in their daily tasks and symposium responsibilities.

EUCAPA 2016 International Volunteer Program Application Guidelines

  • Proof of student certificate (bachelor, master and PhD students) (.pdf format during application, original needs to be submitted at the beginning of the program).
  • Recommendation letter from faculty (pdf format, max. 500 words) * Motivation letter (indicate why you want to volunteer, your university studies and APA experience) (.pdf format, max. 500 words)
  • Proof of language skills (Standardized English exam test results for non-native speakers of English). As the official language of the symposium is English, you should be able to communicate and make yourself understood in English. Additional language skill(s) is a big plus.
  • Abstract submissions (follow the abstract submission guidelines of EUCAPA 2016 and highlight with abstract submission that you are applying to IVP, too).
