This year the EUFAPA Board of directors will complete their four-year term. At that time, the current President-Elect, Pedro Ferreira will become EUFAPA President and current president Martin Kudlacek will become EUFAPA past-president. We invite EUFAPA members' input on identifying competent and motivated nominees for next EUFAPA board as soon as possible but before September 7, 2014! The guidelines and procedures for making nominations can be found below (Nomination Process). Prior to submission your candidates, please read Articles 9-12 in the EUFAPA Bylaws, which can be found at www.eufapa.eu Important to know: Elections will be held during next General Assembly (GA) in 2014, the GA will be held during EUCAPA2014 in Madrid, Spain on October 1st, 2014. Nomination Process: (read before submitting a nomination) The past president, with the help of the secretary, shall ascertain that all nominees are current EUFAPA members and submit names of nominees to the Board of Directors prior to the close of nominations [September 7, 2014]. The Past President shall work with the Board of Directors to ensure that the slate of nominees is diverse, especially with regard to including individuals with impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions in physical activity. The close of nominations will occur about 1 month prior to the General Assembly. The slate of nominations will then be mailed to all members about two weeks prior to the General Assembly. |
